Give the gift of iftar this Ramadan. Your donation feeds a family in need and earns the reward of their fasting.
During Ramadan, no family should have to worry about where their next meal will come from.
For many households in our communities, this is the hardest month of the year. While fasting brings spiritual reflection and unity, it also places extra strain on families who already struggle to put food on the table. Prices rise, work becomes uncertain, and the pressure to provide Iftaar and Suhoor grows.
Crescent Aid Network’s Ramadan Food Pack initiative exists to meet that need with dignity and care.
Each food pack is designed to help a household prepare multiple meals across the month of Ramadan. We focus on non-perishable, staple foods that can be used in different ways, stretched across days, and shared within families. These are not once-off handouts. They are practical food supplies that allow families to cook, eat, and observe Ramadan with peace of mind.
Our packs typically include items such as:
- Rice and maize meal
- Lentils and dried beans
- Cooking oil
- Canned foods
- Basic cooking staples
These items allow families to prepare nourishing meals for Iftaar and Suhoor, reducing the stress of daily food shortages.
We work directly with local communities, masjids, and trusted community organisers to identify families most in need. This ensures that food packs go where they are genuinely required, and that distribution happens in a respectful, organised way.
